An 81-year-old national of Paraguay has lived in the United States on and off for several years while seeking an avenue to become a permanent resident.
His children are living in the United States and his daughter that is a US Citizen petitioned for him.
Unfortunately, the I-485 application was filed multiple times but each time it was returned to them and rejected for processing.
Finally, they engaged our office to represent the applicant in the process and the final result was an approved application in May 2022 for legal permanent residence.
This was a relief for the elderly applicant who is experiencing health problems and his children are pleased that their father can remain in the United States.
