Young Adult Homeless Ministry

Our Ministry

Catholic Charities of South Carolina partners with the Young Adult group at the Cathedral of John the Baptist to make sandwiches and distribute to the neighbors on the streets of Charleston every Tuesday night. This ministry of encounter brings more than just a meal to our neighbors, it brings an opportunity for prayer and friendship with those in need.

Ministry begins at 5:00pm in the Cathedral Parish Hall with sandwich making followed by 5:30 - 6:30pm distribution in downtown Charleston.
