Meeting the Material and Spiritual Needs of Seafarers at the Charleston Port

Our Ministry

Port Ministry serves Seafarers who visit the Port of Charleston. The Charleston Port one of the busiest ports on the east coast. The mission of port ministry is to welcome seafarers into Charleston and help them with their material and spiritual needs.

Deacon Paul Rosenblum meets Seafarers who are coming in on ships from the port and offers them transportation to stores and offers access to the sacraments.

At Christmas time, Port Ministry collected donations and creates boxes for seafarers who are spending Christmas at sea.
